Graduate School of UIN Ar-Raniry Graduates 149 Alumni at the Third Yudisium Ceremony

The Graduate School of Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh graduated 149 students at the Third Yudisium Ceremony of the Even Semester, Academic Year 2024/2025, held at the Graduate School Auditorium on Tuesday (September 23, 2025).
Of the total, 10 students successfully earned doctoral degrees and 139 earned master’s degrees. With this addition, the total number of Graduate School alumni of UIN Ar-Raniry has reached 3,256, consisting of 2,913 master’s graduates and 343 doctoral graduates.
In her remarks, the Director of the Graduate School, Prof. Eka Sri Mulyani, MA, Ph.D., stated that the yudisium is a moment of triumph after a long journey of struggle for the students.
“Today is a day of victory. The titles of master and doctoral are not merely letters before or after a name, but symbols of intellectual journey, sacrifice, perseverance, and commitment to exploring knowledge to its roots,” she said.
Prof. Eka also emphasized the importance of gratitude as a foundation for graduates. According to her, gratitude will keep new scholars humble and beneficial to society.
“The deeper the knowledge, the more we realize the vastness of Allah’s ocean of knowledge. Therefore, be scholars who are humble, provide benefits, and build a vision as architects of a humanistic and sustainable civilization,” she added.
She also addressed the challenges of the digital era amid the rapid flow of information, hoaxes, and polarization.
“This situation requires wise intellectuals, who are able to enlighten, not mislead; to unite, not divide,” she stressed.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Director of the Graduate School, Prof. Dr. T. Zulfikar, M.Ed., in his report stated that at the Third Yudisium Ceremony of the Even Semester, Academic Year 2024/2025, the Graduate School of UIN Ar-Raniry officially added 149 new graduates, consisting of 10 doctoral and 139 master’s graduates.
In this yudisium, the Graduate School of UIN Ar-Raniry also presented awards to several outstanding graduates from both doctoral and master’s programs.
At the doctoral level, Dinar Pratama from the Islamic Education program achieved a perfect GPA of 4.00 with cum laude honors in six semesters. Meanwhile, Nainunis from the Modern Fiqh (Islamic Law) program graduated with a GPA of 3.78 and praise distinction.
At the master’s level, several students received cum laude distinction, including Nyak Dila Amelia (Islamic Economics, GPA 3.97), Siti Maria Ulfa (Family Law/Ahwal Al-Syakhshiyyah, GPA 3.98), Evi Damaika (Islamic Studies, GPA 3.93), Raudhatul Jannah Ilyas (Qur’an and Tafsir Studies, GPA 3.93), Dana Ismawan (Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, GPA 3.98), Syamsidar (Islamic Education, GPA 3.98), and Salmiyanti (Arabic Language Education, GPA 3.95).
